[CLAB - suddle vs Richard]

Dope battle, but really after the second verse it just sounds like RJA won. Suddle had good flow, and some alright punches, but RJA just brought far more lyrical skill to the table.

I'd be spotting RJA, RJA to advance.

[CLAB - Senator vs Gasmasq]

Damn hard. This is about as close as a battle can be. Breaking down lyrics flow etc. would be misleading. Both guys hit all the stops. Really, this comes down to who can get the crowd going.

SJD has a helluva lot of energy, diversified the flow.
Gas had punches that rallied the battle back, kept it real.

Really, I think SJD edged it. Both you guys brought it, but I just feel like I'd be cheering SJD's punches more. Gas probably brought more valid points, but to this voter that didn't quite make up for the differenece in energy.

Both keep up.

[Subsequence - Ideas?]

This is solid brer! Can't say I'm generally into this more modern style of hiphop, but you've executed the style pretty damn well! Wasn't so hot on the synth that came in around :38, maybe try a different wave form or some shit. Really liked the kicks.

Generally it's as hot a piece techno/ hiphop as I've heard. Keep up man!

[CLAB - Byron vs Scuare]

Damn solid battle. We always knew this was gonna be a high pace battle, but this was really a case of the heat being brought. I could give a breakdown, but I'd be pretending it wasn't clear from after the first play through that Scuare won this shit. Byron had a couple sick punches (that shit about limping out Emergency's room was brilliant), but Scuare was dead on with on topic and off topic punches (best example was the last four of his first verse, two on how Byron was recycling disses then two on him and his parents).

Byron was hot, but this goes to Scuare.

Ax out.

Wow, fucking brave using this beat! Both you guys brought a hell of a lot of engery, so I'ma give a breakdown of punches that stood out.

Senator: Obsideno great start, personal background hit, It was your fault your parents got divorced,
Obsideo: Starts off interesting rhyme scheme second place strong start, face diss, senate district diss, beg for a vote great exit.
Senator: Face diss flip, nerd diss, rap battle activate, not so strong exit,
Obsideo: Dummy call out, gay joke flip, brain/ bank account, back to Montgomery, EP flip.

Really, really close, probably gotta vote Obsideo just because his disses were a bit more inventive. You guys pretty much tied it on all else.

Senator wins balls award for spitting over fur elise for a battle beat.

[CLAB - Joey vs Gasmasq]

JK: Good flow, some good disses about his career, some filler, alt diss. Went in with some clichés though, ie: clearing out the gas mask, that was MF's angle, thought you should have more originality.

GQ: Some hard hitting personals, start out with call out self-biting, "that's weak- last week" 4 syllable parallel multi. Great. Hit back with career disses just as hard hitting, PiG diss (that hits too) production diss, recycle diss, all factual hard hitting diss.

JK: Meh. 2005 diss was good, double time was pretty good but JK is too slurred to hit that.

GQ: Flow was solid, contrast heavily with JK which gave his flow disses more punch. "Of course I'm gonna google you"- hard punch. JK really did sound like amateur. The rest was kinda filler, but he got away with it because he pretty much exhausted JK disses without resorting to name jokes.

GasMasq for the advance. This was a high quality match, with an average opponent JK could have gotten through, but Gas hit hard and didn't let up.

Everyone'll start yelling "dickriders" soon (probably Gas'll even agree) but that's bullshit. JK lost this pretty straightforwardly.
