[HDC: Mao vs. Warspawn]

Mao goes in strong, best disses I've heard him bring. Warspawn, comes in, but most of his disses don't really hit. The faggot rhyme was pretty lulzy, but come end of first verses Mao's winning.

Mao comes in again, still hitting personal and has me laughing quite a lot. Spawn comes in again, pussy eating = overdone. Stretching phonics was pretty solid, but I can't really vote for Spawn when I spent most of his setups thinking "please hit hard please hit hard PLEASE HIT HARD awwwwww another filler line". Generally, I gotta admit I loathe Mao's flow and dig Spawn's, but right here I'd be a fraud to say this is anything but one sided.

One listen, these guys deserve that much dignity.

Spawn sounded strong, but sounded off beat quite a lot. Most of the song he sounded like he dominated Bummer, but last verse.... N word punch fucking ended it on its own lmao, but BCT really did bring the heat non stop, something Rich hadn't really managed imho.

Great battle, but BCT to remain.

This some really dope shit. It all just feels so delicate and understated, I don't think enough people make this kinda stuff (or can make this kinda stuff). I especially like the way the hook leads back into the main riff, fits the whole idea of incompleteness and elegance.

On my 189729755610th listen, I gotta say I wanna give it to Spawn, but I just feel SJD waas the best emcee here.

WOOP WOOP TEQ V SPAWN

You both brought your A Game, so let me break this down:

- Teq brought comedy in massive doses.
- Teq had better flows imo, but doubling every line made it sound weaker whereas Spawn had less creative but stronger flows. Tie.
- Style wise, Teq sounded more cosy and consistent, WarSpawn had that Immortal Technique anger that shone through all his lines. Tie again.
- Content wise, I think Spawn really shone through with relevant shots at every thing you could pick up about Teq without reiterating Flex.
- Scheme wise, Teq was more creative although Spawn's last 4 in his first verse were killer.
- In terms of closers and openers and generic presence I think Spawn sounded more aggressive.
- Punch wise, I think Teq took it. His follow-up rhymes were less aggressive and just had that "ooooh" factor.

I'd give this to Spawn, it just sounded like he won in terms of content and flow. However, without Teq this battle wouldn't be what it was. He made this GREAT to listen to, lulz factor, hilarious schemes, stacked punchlines you name it.

Teq- work on getting confident without the doubles. Your singles sound better (although everyone hates listening to themselves flowing singles). Also maybe work on an aggressive side to the style.

Spawn- work on punches, work on stronger follow ups (although "really? dog stop." was too good).
