This shit is hawt. No more to say, fucking grade a.

Ok, I've had this on repeat for a while now. I have to say, all weighed up I'd give this to Fats quite confidently. I know, I know, Brit clique and all that yeah, but I honestly thought Eye Cue'd body him. AAAND Eye Cue wasn't disappointing, the Family Guy/ American Dad etc run was especially doep but I wouldn't say he had a bad line. Fat middle aged genius, can't spell unique without IQ, Toucan Sam, snorted up a cockring all lulzy lines with super on point flow.

I don't know though, Fats came hard too, less heavy punches but he stayed 100% personal and (I think this decided my vote) he switched up flows and delivery to a crazy degree and... I don't know, he just styled on this. I'm giving this to Fats quite confidently, but Eye Cue took the first round for sure.

Eye Cue: Awesome punching style, but I think it could have been a game changer if you had stronger closers.

Fats: Voices, flow and style made the difference here but personals were strong too. The only thing that stuck out to me was the lack of multis: even just one or two can make a big difference.

Fats FTW. Eye Cue for the righteous second place. Awesome battle, both gon get yourself some Clabtrap shirts.

Fire man. Where do you keep finding all these solid gold samples?

DJDureagon responds:

A tek! youuuuuu are like awesome. I have a few blogs i go to for my samples. I find (most) there. It helps to know the names of a few soul jazz bass players too. That's how Dilla did it, or so im told.

Holy shit it's been a long time.... Freaking love this though.

hopeku responds:

hehe I submitted a couple things rescently. Thanks! :)

Really really dig this kinda virtuoso scheme shit over jazz hop beats. You know shit's fire.

ggsevv responds:

'Preciate it. We practice A LOT. Lol.

I really really liked your imagery in this track, that shit's probably massively helped by the super dope beat though, just wish shit was longer in a full format. 5d and dld.

I love how last year flow was your weakside, and now it's your strong point. And oh shit this battle was too good.

Teqneek responds:

Haha, thanks bruhbruhbruhbruh. I always thought flow was my strong point for real, but I've definitely been working hard at improving since last year so I'm glad you noticed.

Glad you liked it, but I actually hated this battle for so many reasons. Just the entire process.

It took so long to complete because of CF's record-breaking lateness, plus I felt like I was caving in to his wishes by finally facing Carefoot after resisting his battle challenges and batshit craziness for so long.

AND, I wasn't happy with my recording for real. Some unexplained weirdness happened that made my vocals sound really loud and feedback-y. I had to turn a bunch of settings down to get a passable recording quality, and I never was satisfied with it. But I've been told by a few people now that it wasn't much of an issue, so that eases my mind a bit.

But for real- I hate the fact that I had to write and rap 2 verses about Nicholas Carefoot. Plus he's been a bitch since the discussion thread opened up. AND his fuckery with the beat and insane volume contrasting- that REALLY made me mad. What a scumbag.

I actually think your flow works better a cappella. Can I write you some beats for your a cappellas?

Carefoot responds:

Thanks mate. Yeah if you did I would rap over them haha much love. We should iTunes it up. Revenue share and get paid son.

Teq definitely won this lmao but Carefoot gets props for making me laugh until my eveything haemorrhaged.

Teq for advance and +$500.

Holy. Fucking. Shit. Fucking gold.

eqftc responds:
